If I display a S3 OLCI Band, and a Tie Point Grid, the two do not fully align. Does anyone know why this is? Is it a feature (or bug?) of the spacecraft? SNAP processing?
Thanks,
-k.

The radiance bands have no-data stripes on the left and right side. You can see them when enabling the no-data overlay .
By the way, you should enable the pixel geo-coding for accurate geo-location, if not already done.
Your first image isn’t showing up.
Do the preferences also work with GPT? Or is there some other way to do this with GPT?
Also thanks for the no-data hint. I’ll now try to find an operator to clip the SZA to the radiance bands based on the valid data.
I think you can set the valid pixel expression of SZA to quality_flags.invalid
or Oa01_radiance.raw==65535
The geo-coding property is also used by gpt.
Yes geo-coding clearly used by gpt. The graph is running ~30x slower now ! :(. But it is OK, I guess the data is better.
Yes, it’s much slower. But with tie-points you can be up to 6-8 pixels off. So it’s really worth it
