Gpt not working (Linux)

Good morning to everyone,
I have installed successfully SNAP 6.0 in my linux VM (ubuntu 17.10) and the GUI version works fine.
I would like to launch a processing pipeline from CLI with the gpt instruction, so I tried first to test gpt with the
gpt -help
but it says gpt is not installed.
here attached what is inside the SNAP/bin folder

Have you added <SNAP_install_dir>/bin to your PATH? Alternately, you can use “<SNAP_install_dir>/bin/gpt --help”.
