Unable to open 2A files with pre-Dec. 2016 format

Hello,

Using SNAP 5.0, I can not read S2A tiles before Dec. 2016. It works well with the new format. It seems that the problem comes from the names of the unzipped files, which are too long for windows (10). I’ve tried to unzip the files in the root folder, but it did not work.

Does anybody have manage to go around this problem?

An example of the tile is:
S2A_OPER_PRD_MSIL1C_PDMC_20160927T193325_R037_V20160927T112112_20160927T112525

Hi @erwan56,

I managed to properly open your image in SNAP 5.0 using Windows 10. (I was saving the product in the desktop)

Are you sure the unzip process was correct? Do you have an error message when trying to open the image?

I’ve finally managed by unzipping to the root.
