Adding Sentinel 2 Optical data t SNAP

I have downloaded sentinel 2 data and extracted to (S2A_MSIL1C_20170211T075031_N0204_R135_T36MYD_20170211T080009.SAFE). This is data sensed on 11th Feb 2017. When i open this with SNAP i don’t seem to get the write data as the executable .safe file is “manifest.safe” which gives the error below
“No appropriate reader found”

OK, then it is the MTD_MSIL1C.xml file. This should be there.

thank you marpet, but it still not working. This is my biggest worry

Then there must be something wrong with the downloaded files.
I just fetched this product from scihub and I was able to open it.
Which tool have you used for unpacking? I recommend 7zip.

Hi,

which version of SNAP are you using? That product should be supported since version 5.0.0.
