Back scattering matrix

which is svv or svh?
after calibration and save as complex data or before?
for example, imaginary and real data before calibration are 20 and 15 and after they became 0.3 and 0.05

SAR data is usually stored as integer (digital number DN without decimals) in order to keep disk space and downloading time small. After radiometric calibration (application of the calibration constant and integration of the incidence angle), the data is converted to float (decimal values). These are then a normalized and comparable measure.
So it is actually intended (and required) that the data changes its range.
