Determine satellite look angle for a S-1 SAR image

Hi all. I would like to know if it’s possible to determine the satellite look angle for a given S-1 SAR image? I have checked File properties and could not see this information.

  1. Open your image
  2. Open the layer manager
  3. Select the + button
  4. Mapping Tools > Next
  5. Check “Show Look Direction” > Finish

This works in both slant and range geometry as well as for geocoded images.

This is very useful and I will definitely be using this! I wasn’t very clear in my question what I meant though. I was interested in knowing whether you could find out the exact off-nadir angle for a given SLC product? Or is this not possible?
