Determining the amplitude and phase values from i and q in SNAP

I am wondering if it is possible to calculate the amplitude and phase values using the i and q real and imaginary complex values SAR values [ ie. amplitude = sqrt (i * i + q * q) and phase = arctan(q/i)] directly in SNAP ?

Can I simply do a band math equation and derive the pixel-wise values of amplitude and phase from the i and q values ?

Or it is advisable to rather do it on an external platform like python ? Are there any existing codes for it in that case ?

I think your amplitude and phase calculations are correct and you can compute them using bandMath.
