I’m struggling with a basic concept of InSAR theory that I can’t completely understand.
I’ve understood that if a target shifs multiples of half wavelength we won’t get any phase change.
But so my question is: why is the maximum displacement between 2 different acquisition set to 1/4 the wavelength and not 1/2? for example for sentinel 1 the maximum displacement between two successive acquisition is 1.4 cm. why?
