The following error appears when starting snap:
‘A java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError exception has occurred’
I can’t do anything, I can’t even load data into snap. Does anyone know what I can do?

Did it work before or not?
Is this a new clean installation of SNAP or did you install any updates lately?
Which operating system are you using?
What also might help if you post the log file.
This is located on Windows at: <USER_DIR>\AppData\Roaming\SNAP\var\log\messages.log
