I am currently running TOPSAR Split on a couple of S1A files in order to then produce coherence products from them. I am using one file that has VV and VH polarisations, while the second file only has VV polarisation.
When running the single-pol file through TOPSAR Split, I accidentally told it to split the image into three swaths for both VV and VH polarisations. Funnily enough, this did not cause TOPSAR Split to print an error message; instead, it generated 6 files, 3 labelled as having VH polarisation and 3 labelled as being VV polarisation. Upon opening the VH-labelled files, the bands contained were i, q and Intensity for VV.
Is there any way of getting SNAP to print an error message when this mistake is made? Or at least to create blank, in my case, VH files. This could seriously affect any subsequent calculations made, and the earlier the error is printed out, the better.
I have been using GPT through the Ubuntu command line to run my processing, and I am using SNAP v6 with the most recent updates.
