EW Mode Cross-polarized Thermal Noise Removal - NOT working on scenes over ocean

Hey all,
I am currently using Sentinel-1 EW (Extra wide) mode data for my studies on polar continents.
While I apply for S-1 TNR - it does not actually do the job. it still leaves out the white stripes particularly in cross polarised modes (HV). Is it something else I can do to overcome these vertical stripes? Is there any step prior that am missing?

Another important note: Am trying to perform this over Ocean
