Hi everyone. Im going to use remote sensing data to detect burned areas in the forest for 20 years.
In this case . I have some questions.
How can I find burned areas?
How many images should I use for each year?
Which method is better for extracting burnt areas?

The Normalized Burn Ratio has been found one of the most robust and reliable indices, but it often depends on the type of fire and also the ecosytem. A short tutorial is given here.
