Orientation of Wind Field Estimation Results

Hello everyone,

I have generated a wind field estimation map in SNAP using Sentinel-1 GRD Data. Since the radar image is originally inverted during wind field estimation, I am not sure if the produced wind field layer is already terrain corrected. Are the positions and directions of the wind vectors geographically correct? Or are they based on the inverted image? Lastly, what will be the effect of using RD ellipsoidal correction after wind field estimation?

The windfield will correspond to the geolocation of the product. After ellipsoid correction, they should be map projected and oriented according to the projection.
