Problem importing RadarSat2

I cannot import the zip file I have my RadarSat2 data in. I am following import>SAR Sensors> RadarSat2. My zip file does not show up as an accepted file (zip or xml).

I have tried importing just the xml product file instead which it allows me to do- but at that point I cannot perform any radiometric calibration. When trying to do so, I receive this message: “An internal error occured during the target product processing. Type: NullPointerException Message:Null” Therefore, this doesn’t seem like an alternative workflow for me. I would really like to figure out why the zip file is not available to import into the platform before trying to utilize the xml/product file.

I have attached a screen capture of the contents of the zip file I am trying to import.

Can you open the product using the “Open Product” button at the upper-left corner of SNAP?

Nope, I still receive a “no appropriate product reader” error message. Additionally, don’t you need to import into SNAP via the specific sensor designation so that it can be read in and processed accurately?

RadarSat2 product should be able to be imported properly to SNAP with the “Open Product” button. Do you have trouble in opening just this product or other product as well?

Understood- I see you can still designate a sensor when using the “Open Product” button. I have this same problem with ALOS-2 data as well- where no zip file shows up as an available file to import (when the sensor is designated)- but when “all files” is selected (instead of a specific sensor) then it shows up- however it still won’t import- that’s when I get the “no appropriate reader” error. The only file type I don’t have problems with is Sentinel. The zip file always appears for me when I import Sentinel data.
