Producing cloud shadow mask from SNAP

Hi All,

I tried using the idepix mask in SNAP but realized while cloud were reasonably masked, cloud shadow weren’t properly masked. Anyone with an idea on how to efficiently mask cloud shadow. I tried the fmask python function too but usable pixels were masked. I’m working with water pixels. Thanks

sen2cor generates a cloud shadow class in the scene classification part:

I don’t know if the quality is suffucient in your case but it might be worth a try.

Cloud shadow detection in Idepix is not really included. But work is ongoing.
