S2 corrupted products

Hello, I am interested in T34SFJ tile in Greece, but I see from the SciHub that in many of the images a big part appears “black”. For example, for product name S2A_MSIL1C_20170426T091031_N0204_R050_T34SFJ_20170426T091828 we have

Is there a problem with this tile? Because about a half of all images of this tile are suffering from this problem. Thank you

Hello,

Your Tile is at the lefthand edge of the swath. Thus, you have data on the right, and no data on the left:

You can visualise this in Google Earth using the acquisition plan and tiling parameters file from the Sentinel Online site:

Hello Kostas,

Yes. This is a consequence of the on-ground swath width (290km) of the instrument(s).
Your AOI (34SFJ) is only partially covered by S2A Relative Orbit 050. However, it is wholly covered by S2A Relative Orbit 093.
