I would like to process Band 3 of Sentinel 2A in SNAP 7.0 with sen2cor280 or alternatively sen2cor 255 in a Mac OS Catalina.
However, it does not appear to work… What steps should I follow to correctly activate the possibility of using sen2cor in my case?

You can either install it from Tools-> Manage External Tools -> Edit -> Bundled Binaries -> MacOSX Bundle -> Download and Install Now:
either when you run it from the first time from Optical -> Thematic Land Processing -> Sen2Cor Processor.
Once installed, it will have a green status in Tools -> Manage External Tools (instead of the warning status you have now).
