Sentinel-1 and other SAR emitted pulse value

Hi everybody,

I’m new to SAR remote sensing. I was wondering where I could get on SNAP the information about the value of the amplitude of the emitted pulse for the Sentinel-1 SAR. I expected this value to be unique. It’s about the conversion from linear to dB.

Moreover, how SNAP knows this value for other supported SAR sensors. For S-1, I expect it to be somewhere in the data but I can’t find it !

Many thanks !

If you are interested you can look into the Level-0 products, but these are not supported by SNAP:

…as well as Level-1 processing algorithm:

I will definitely take a look ! Thanks a lot
