Sentinel 2 and mosaics

Hi everyone. While creating a mosaic with SNAP and sentinel 2 data products a question came to my mind. It is true that there are zones between products in which two data products coincide, in the case of creating a mosaic. Which image of the two prevails? or does it work by extracting the mean of both?

Hola Elena,

The pixel values of the output are accumulated using the arithmetic mean of all valid input pixels of all input products found.

Bear in mind that averaging pixels from overlapping tiles acquired on different dates is more of a cosmetic rather than a scientific operation.
