SNAP infinite code loop and acquire orbit file issue

We updated the SNAP from 7.0.0 to 8.0.4 last week, and we are using SNAP to generate Sentinel-1 level 2 data.
However, it constantly reports the same warning and error:

We noticed the https://qc.sentinel1.eo.esa.int is no longer available, and it should be automatically replaced with https://qc.sentinel1.copernicus.eu/ after installing updates. But SNAP is still trying to reach the old site instead of the new one even we have the latest version installed. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Any help is appreciated.

Maybe old settings remained in the cache.
Close SNAP and try to clean everything from the above locations:
C:\Users\[username]\.snap
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\SNAP or C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\SNAP
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Temp\snap-[username]

Hi!
Thank you for these suggestions! We agree this is possibly due to remained settings. However, we are working on ubuntu and we could only locate files under the ~/.snap folder. And SNAP is still trying to access the old site after removing everything inside the ~/.snap folder. Do you know other paths that contain SNAP files in Ubuntu?
