There seems to be some Soil Moisture and RDC code in the Radarsat Toolbox but nothing for S1…

Not being an expert in any of this, I would advance that you are probably better off trying to use the RADARSAT data and toolbox. Andreas has also given you plenty of pointers on this and past topics.

Yes, the soil moisture toolkit is included since SNAP 8, but it requires quad-pol data and a bit of understanding of the underlying methods. Please don’t expect a perfect one-click-solution.
