Steps to generate Vegetation Indices for drought monitoring using SNAP tool by Sentinel2

I want to generate VHI (Vegetation Health Index) of some areas using Sentinel images(Sentinel 2 is preferred). Is there any way to use SNAP to do my work. If so, what are the steps? Your help will be really appreciated.

is NDVI an option? If the formula is known, you can simply enter it in the band maths.

You should consider calibrating the image first, especially if you want to compare images of multiple dates. This can be done with sen2cor: http://step.esa.int/main/third-party-plugins-2/sen2cor/
