I’m a total noob, so please excuse my ignorance.
Going through the SNAP Supervised Classification, can anyone suggest the best place online to look to gain an understanding of the different classifiers? Or is there a text book I can get?
My background is not with remote sensing so I’m learning it all from scratch.
I’m producing class maps but I need to know more about the different classification classes.
You don’t need to excuse for the fact that you want to learn it
I found this chapter quite useful as it brings the most important parts together:
The KNN classifier is pobably described best on Wikipedia:
or, more related to remote sensing:
Thank you. This information will be really helpful!
