Change of band values converting JP2 to TIF?

Hi there,

Currently we are using GDAL /Rasterio/ERDAS Imagine to convert our JP2 Sentinel 2 bands from its original JP2 format to either .IMG or .TIF, however when comparing pixel per pixel values of the JP2 image and the resulting .TIF image, there is always a difference.

Is this experienced by other users?? Or can some change be expected when converting image formats?

Is the difference a factor of 10000? Then you see only the raw values.
And here is said that gdal uses a wrong library. This could also be the problem.

Hi Marc, thanks for the response. I am going to remove this question as I was not comparing pixel per pixel, and now that I am the values are identical. User error and I apologise.
