Hi there,

I am getting the following error when trying to download the elevation mode used in my processing. Is there a known issue, has anything changed?

Here is the error message I am getting:

SEVERE: org.esa.snap.core.dataop.dem.ElevationFile: Server returned HTTP response code: 403 for URL: http://cgiar-csi-srtm.openterrain.org.s3.amazonaws.com/source/srtm_40_02.zip

If you search the forum you will find multiple reports of problems the SRTM data. It appears that NASADEM, Release of NASADEM has made SRTM obsolete.

yes, this is related to this topic, so I’m closing here SRTM ZIP-files are corrupted or not found
