Filtering for coherence

What filtering should I use to better represent the computed “coherence” to the land surface?
I have just computed the coherence during interferogram generating in sentinel-1 toolbox using sentinel SLC data.
Thanks for any ideas.

Why do you think you should filter the coherence? If the coherence looks noisy you can increase the size of the coherence-window which should help with the noise while reducing resolution of the coherence-image.

You can of course filter the coherence with some low-pass filter (mean, median etc.) in post-processing if you want to.

As mentioned by mengdahl post-filtering coherence is possible but not recommended. Coherence is a property of the specific InSAR pair.
