How to calculate the reflectance

Level 2A is reflectance, but in Integer. To get it scaled over 0-1, you’ll have to divide by the QUANTIFICATION_VALUE from the metadata, mostly 10000

Quantification_value 1000?

Hello Simon, I can confirm that the QUANTIFICATION_VALUE of 10000 is correct. It appears that the QUANTIFICATION_VALUE of 1000 is - as you ask - an aberration, arising as a consequence of the distribution of a N02.01 product containing the wrong R2ABCA file. The issue will be raised for further investigation. I understand the same product processed with N02.02 - which has the correct R2ABCA - is available, and this should be used. Sen2cor: pixel values

Hi, in the sentinel-2 products the pixel values are stored as integers, to transform them into reflectance you have to divide them by 10000. If you open the full product by opening the metadata file in SNAP, this conversion should be done automatically. Is it possible that you have opened the jp2 files individually? In this case, the values are read directly from the image (without conversion)
