Menu displays with Funny Characters

Hi everyone:

I have installed SNAP, but the menu characters are funny (letters are covering one to other) and it is impossible to read anything. I have installed previous versions, other 32 and 64 bit versions (Version 7), and the bug persists. I use Win 10 (64 bits).

Do you know how I can solve that issue? Thank you for your support.

I’ve heard this before. Unfortunately, I don’t remember the reason nor the solution for it.
I think it was reported in this forum, but I can’t find the thread.
Maybe someone else can help?

What you could try is to change the look and feel. If you can find the path.
First go to,

And there go to Appearance and select for example Nimbus as LaF.

Thank you for your support @marpet and @oana_hogoiu . I tried before installing and reinstall everything, so I will check if there is something missing. This image shows what the menu display shows.

Try to clean everything before re-installing:
C:\Users\[username]\.snap
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\SNAP or C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\SNAP
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Temp\snap-[username]

Also, maybe it’s caused by the OS language. What display language do you have in your Win 10 ?
