Multi-Temporal InSAR by SNAP

I have read a lot text about PS inSNAP, and the datasets are processed by StaMPS,I want to know whether SNAP can do MTI(Multi-Temporal InSAR ),is there any Tutorials to help me.I need your help

regarding traditional DInSAR, the principle stays the same. You compute interferograms and analyze the displacement between different image pairs. Some topics on this:

SNAP also supports generation of multi-temporal coherence-series which some call multi-temporal InSAR.

Hello everyone. I want to do a dinsar with multiple images. I know that we can only use two images at a time but how should I do insar for one year’s data. I have 26 images (don’t want to do SBAS and PS right now) and want to make a time series of deformation. I used the stacking tool to find my master image. should I make the interferograms based on this image? or instead, when I have two images (at a time), should I use the first date as the master and the second date as the slave?

Basically you create displacement products from subsequent images: 1-2 2-3 3-4 and so on. Then you stack them and combine them to a time-series. This is shown in the last few slides of this documentation.

Thank you so much ABraun. I have another question. since SNAP is open source, where can I get the equations used for processing SAR in SNAP. Sorry I’m a total beginner ;(

Hello ABraun, I hope it’s ok to reply to you on this thread. I would like to create a coherence time-series to identify changes in vegetation structure (not ground deformation). Would this tutorial still apply, or could you recommend other literature?

basically yes. You drive coherence (instead of the interferogram) and stack the results to compare them.

please. I would like to know if it is right to save only those files (attached to the image) as a result of the unwrapped phase of the interferograms so that I can stack them later for time series purposes.

yes, these are the ones you need for the import (keep both but select the hdr file).
But the import also needs the product which was used for the export as well.

no, you can delete the export folder after successful import.
