ProductIO Import Error while using snappy in python

I initially had python37 but I had to uninstall it for it did not supported snappy. I had uninstalled this version and then installed python2.7.

And yes I tried from snappy import CompressError, it showed an error., “ImportError: cannot import name CompressError”

Hey, I got it resolved. I used the wrong version of python I guess.

Python’s version I used did not supported ProductIO. Check if your python version is compatible with the module.

Please start a new thread so readers don’t have to wade through the long series of posts from 2 years ago. Please tell us about your configuration (OS, Python version and where you got it (e.g., Visual Studio, Anaconda, Python.org, ArcGIS, etc.). Did you specify the path to Python in the installer? Have you tried running snappy-conf in a terminal?
