Thanks to the SNAP development team for the many improvements in this extraordinary year. I just upgraded a Windows 10 system, and saw a couple potential points of confusion:

Defender Smartscreen flagged the .exe file as potentially dangerous.

the installer’s list of supported Python versions stopped at 3.4, but seems to have succeeded with Python 3.6 (which I have been using with SNAP 7):
