I was able to reproduce the error.
This seems to be related to the maximum number of groups that NetCDF can handle, which is exceeded here. It was adressed already in SNAP-3509
I believe you actually were the one identifying this.
The workaround is to delete the metadata element
“Level-1C_DataStrip_ID/Satellite_Ancillary_Data_Info”
This worked for me.

Hello! Im curious to understand what the support for COG+STAC is with v11, I cant find anything that mentions it.
Plus, how can i ingest data from, for example Microsoft Planetary computer or earth search and import the xml files to SNAP like it is possible with dataspace copernicus (MTD.xml) ? Is there an inbuilt api to download STAC items within snap? Wheres the documentation regarding all this? Which stac providers is the support enabled? What kind of formatting is needed to be able to read the metadata?
