Nuria Gimeno Martínez obtained the M.Sc. degree of Telecommunication Engineering from de University of Alcalá, Madrid, Spain, in 2007.
In 2008, she joined INTA, the Spanish National Institute for Aerospace Technology (INTA), in Torrejón de Ardoz, Spain, as an External Consultor Engineer in the Radar Laboratory of the Radiofrequency Area. From 2008 to 2012 she was responsible of the development of the Real Time SAR data processor subsystems of airborne platforms of the Radar Laboratory. She participated in the implementation of SAR signal processing algorithms and developed tools for exploitation of polarimetric products.
Since 2012, she works in the Space Programs Department at INTA as a member of PAZ calibration/validation (CalVal) Team. She has participated in the integration activities of the CalVal center of the PAZ satellite. She worked in the development of tools for the calibration and exploitation of polarimetric products from the PAZ satellite.
She currently works in the implementation of calibration and Instrument operation processes, in the development of polarimetric integrated tools for the management and exploitation of multi-polarised PAZ SAR datasets and in the validation of interferometric PAZ data. She is part of the design team of PAZ mission in-flight campaigns and member of the PAZ scientific Exploitation team.
