He received the B.S. degree in Geodesy and Photogrammetry Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University and the M.S degree in Geomatic Engineering from Yildiz Technical University (YTU), Turkey, and currently pursuing his PhD at the Geomatic Enginering, Yildiz Technical University, Turkey. He was a short term visiting scholar in University of South Florida, St.Petersburg at the Department of Environmental Policy, Science and Geography in 2013 and now a guest PhD researcher at Department of Geography, Friedrich-Schiller University Jena, Germany. He is the student member of ISPRS, IEEE (GRSS and CS), RSPSoc, YESS community and COSPAR.
