Hello

I would like any suggestions about this processing flow with the PALSAR Global Forest product:

  1. I`m converting HV data from DN to decibels.
  2. Then, with this product, I’m subtracting one year from the following (for example, 2021 from 2022) to obtain forest loss.

Is it right subtracting rasters in logaritmic scale, such those converted on decibels?

“Regarding your inquiry, subtracting rasters after converting from digital number [DN] to backscatter value [decibels] is the correct procedure”.
