I use SNAP in my teaching of satellite remote sensing. My students with Apple Macs report the recent update (as of 24.04.2023) for the S2 toolbox has a ‘bug’ - it sends a ‘Java’ error when trying to load an S2 image. The students have deprecated to 8.0.0. and thus now avoid the problem. My students with Windows PCs (as I do) do not have the problem. I have replicated the issue on a Mac OS Monterey at home.

Could you attach the log file, please? You can find it by using the “Help → Show Log Directory" menu.
