Ask about ship detection of sentinel toolbox

Hi,

I am writing a research on ship detection and also use s1tbx in my project. I know that s1tbx object detection is based on “Constant False Alarm Rate” algorithm but is it SUMO ship detector or something different? If it is different, what is the exact name and based on what research.
