Band Maths (SNAP) with Images of different resolutions

Hi,

I need to study the difference between a MODIS product and a SYNERGY product. The resolutions are different: 1km for the MODIS SDR and 300m for the SYNERGY SDR.

I don’t know how to deal with it.

Thanks,

Lucas

Assuming you have level-2 images, a simple way to visualize differences is to map both images to the same resolution so you can use band maths.

For more detailed investigations you might consider exporting the data to a stats package like R. There you do things like selecting nearby pixels from the hi-res. image for each lower res. pixel. This will allow you to compute statistics beyond the simple difference for each low-res. pixel.
