Biomass Ionospheric Effects

I am trying to see the ionospheric effects in Biomass interferograms on Antarctica but I am unable to so far. I am coregistering products I obtain from ESA MAAP Explorer and I use the interferometry tool. What could be the reason?

Are you using the L1C product?

I think a lot of people underestimate how much ionospheric distortion can affect long wavelength SAR data. For BIOMASS especially, even small TEC variations can introduce phase errors and Faraday rotation effects that become pretty noticeable. It might help to compare acquisitions from different ionospheric conditions or check external TEC maps alongside the data. SNAP’s phase filtering tools can also reduce some of the artifacts in practice.
