Biphysical Processor very slow

Hi there,

I am trying to create LAI, FVC and CCC (cab is CCC?) with the biophysical processor using amtmosperically corrected (2A) Sentinel 2 data. It was impossible to resample the input bands to 10m and then run the biophysical processor. It takes ages. When downsampling the input images to 20m, it still takes ~ 30h to produce these 3 indexes, using a reasonable PC with 16 GB RAM. Does anybody experience the same problem ? What can be done to speed up the process?

Sincerely,
gábor

Hi,

To speed up the process the best way is to subset the image. It is a pixel based algorithm so the time is directly proportional to the number of pixels you are computing.

Hi Obarrilero,

thanks for the reply. I do that already.

Sincerely,
