I’m wondering if its possible to calculate year-by-year rate of urbanization for a city.
For exampling using InSAR DEM to measure a city’s total building height/elevation, then comparing to another DEM generated a year later to see what has changed.
Will there any visual or numerical indication of change for the end result? e.g 2015 - 5000 sqm total of buildings, 2016 - 6000 sqm total of building
According to these old thread below, PSI and very high resolution InSAR products are required as building are small targets. Any update if city/block of building height elevation is now possible or is an estimation of DEM the best possible measurement of change/increase of elevation to indicate a new buildings; similar to how Mitun did 2 years ago.
