Hello everyone.
I had access to the Capella Space dataset to test it and get a say about this satellite’s capabilities (pros and cons). After trying to process it for an oil spill, flooding, change detection, even interferometry, I realized that this satellite is not supported by many algorithms and free software yet, so I could not process anything.
I am surprised due to its high resolution, I can see a lot of surface features that we cannot see on Sentinel-1 or even Terra SAR-X. I think Capella has high potential in the earth observation sciences, but until it’s fully compatible with free software, we cannot do too much with its images.
Does anyone have any experience using and processing Capella Space that could share with us?
