Change detection map doesn't match the Sigma0 maps in the stack

Hi,

I have two HGRD S1 images which used to test change detection toolbox, I first calibrated VV channel to Sigma0, then made a subset of the AOI, then Coregistraion and Range-Doppler terrain correction at the end, and finally applied the change detection module, when deeply looked at some detected changes in the log_ratio_change mask, the comparison of Sigma0 images doesn’t show any specific difference, both show white or high response, while the Pixel info window confirms a big difference between the intensities, as follows in the attached image, how can we interpret this and what is the reason for this?

Thanks

I think the mask is binary which indicates the location of the potential changes. When you compare the sigma0 images, could you click on the “Auto-adjust to 100% of all pixels” button (indicated by the red rectangle in the figure below) in Colour Manipulation and see if it helps?

Thanks, I dont have this option, maybe it is available in SNAP 12, when I install I’ll look at it, but I manually increased the number related to the white color in the Colour Manipulation window and solved the issue

It is under View > Tool Window > Colour Manipulation. FYI, there are many useful tutorials under Tutorials – STEP.
