Hi everybody,
I need to calibrate COSMO-SkyMed Second Generation (CSG). do you know which softwares support these data? if you have code in Matlab, python and etc, please share with me
thanks
Hi,
Here you are on ESA SNAP ToolBox forum, did you try it ?
I tried snap, but it dose not work.
SNAP supports CSG data but not all possible formats (the product family is quite large).
which format support?could you explain?
How is it possible to calibrate DGM_B products?
Did you solve the problem? Have you calibrated CSG image using SNAP?
Hi everybody, i’m trying to calibrate CSG data (VH, stripmap mode, SCS_B) using SNAP. The process finishes without any errors, but the result is as follows:
As you can see, every pixel takes the value “-infinity”. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thank you
I also encountered the same problem. Has this problem been resolved
@djagula can you have a look? Thank you
A Jira ticket ([SNAP-3677] - JIRA) has been created to track the problem. We will look into it. Thank you.
Hi everybody.
I also had the same problem and the same exact experience. I was trying to calibrate a CSG SCS-B image through SNAP. After a few failures I contacted the CSK info and have been informed that CSG data are already calibrated (more info here: https://portal-wpstatics-bucket.s3.eu-south-1.amazonaws.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/csk-and-csg-image-calibration.pdf), so there is no need to apply a calibration stage.
The issue on my side is that I need to apply an ocean object (i.e. ship) detector to the data and SNAP requires the input data to be necessarily calibrated. Actually they are natively calibrated but for some reason SNAP says they are not. I am trying to bypass this issue but still struggling with it.
Best
Marco
I confirm that I also heard that CSG data doesn’t need calibration
Maybe SNAP could just skip this part of the graph or at least warn of its uselessness?
