DSM generation using TerraSAR-X or COSMO SkyMed with SNAP

Hi,

I am working on a Digital Surface Model (DSM) generation using either TerraSAR-X or COSMO SkyMed images. I will be using the ScanSAR modality.

I would like to know if there is existing documentation on the workflow and challenges using SNAP.

Unfortunately, the only workflow I have found is for Sentinel-1. From my searching through the web, I found a source that mentions the use of SNAPHU and SNAP for TerraSAR-X, but it does not offer much detail.

Do you know if there is an existing workflow, either documented or described on a website or tutorial?

Unfortunately no, I haven’t found a specific solution for this. If you want to find a bit more information about the algorithm of DSM generation then you can look at this post: Cosmo SkyMed coregistration with SNAP - #2 by ABraun

Here I also made some questions to one of the guys that seems to know more about it and he shared some documentation depending on the satellite product. You will find more information there.
