Empty Manifest file (0kb) in Sar zip

Hi,

I downloaded S1A_IW_SLC__1SDV_20160104T181418_20160104T181445_009348_00D847_AFF5.SAFE and the Manifest file is empty (0kb)

Probably corrupted or unfinished download, try re-download your product.

Yes I would guess the same as Suprd.
If it is still not working I think it is worth to inform the data provider.
Where have you downloaded the data, from the Scientific Data Hub or from the Alaska Satellite Facility?

I downloaded the data from the Scientific Data Hub.

Please note that I resolved this issue by using 7Zip to extract the data. For some reason, the Windows unzip didn’t extact the manifest file correctly. Thanks for the replies

Also be aware that SNAP can open the products directly from the zip file without needing to first unzip them yourself.

just to add on, i realise SNAP can also open SLC products that have crc errors

try the apihub rather than scihub … my experience that download error happen on scihub very often, but not on https://scihub.copernicus.eu/apihub/
