Extracting Areas of good coherance from the phase

Hi, for my master course I am completing a project on subsidence in the Dublin Area.

I have followed successive steps as outlined in the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W2wRO8lLgNU RUS webinar. I now need to subtract the areas of low coherence from the unwrapped phase but am unsure on how to carry out this extract by mask feature. I have tried to complete this using the Raster feature “Mask” as well as using the band maths option but seem to be having no luck.

Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

inside SNAP you can define a valid pixel expression on the properties of the phase band:

coherence > 0.3

for example. Of course, coherence should be replaced by the actual name of the band.

A more permanent solution is presented here: Is it the right way to create mask for phase unwrapping?

Hi, @ABraun. At that time, I am not sure whether the mothod is correct, but now I am pretty sure it is useful and also can be used in time series analysis for masking.
