Failing to export to PolSAR Pro

When EXPORT > SAR FORMATS > POLSAR pro

It does nothing except create the config file, no progress bar pops up and the binary images are not generated.

My pre-processing steps were

Apply Orbit File
TOPSAR split
Calibrate
Deburst
Merge
polarimetric speckle filter
terrain correction
subset (using polygon)

The output files appear normal; I can open the C2 rasters in QGIS, and they appear normal.

When I did the same workflow without splitting multiple IWs and subseting, it worked fine, but the image is too slow to process.

Does merging different IW splits or Subsetting affect the ability to convert to POLSAR Pro binary format?

When processing as a graph it gave me more information on the issue. This error shows:

Error: The name “ESD Measurement” is not legal for JDOM/XML elements

I found this thread Error: The name “ESD Measurement” is not legal for JDOM/XML elements - Microwave Toolbox - STEP Forum

where it is suggested to remove the space in “ESD Measurement” in the DIM file, this at least opens the progress bar, but it becomes stuck on 0% - no .bin files are generated, and only the config and metadata files are created after 12 hours. Furthermore, SNAP appears not to be processing anything, as CPU and RAM usage are low.

EDIT: tried the processing a single IW and subsetting, and it worked. This confirms that SNAP has issues with exporting PolSAR Pro after merging multiple IWs.

@jun_lu can you have a look? Thanks

Could you upload your processing graph so that we can reproduce the issue? Thank you.
