Good morning,

are the Sentinel-3 FRP products still readable by the newest SNAP version?

I have downloaded one product and tried to open it but it was impossible. It is a long time since I tried it, probably with an slight older SNAP version but I remember it was possible.

Surely @diana_harosa knows more about it and can help me.

Could you please provide the SNAP version you are using, the full name of the product you are trying to open, and the exact error message you receive?

Dear Antonio,

I can confirm that the latest SLSTR L2 FRP data distributed by the Copernicus Services is not compatible with SNAP 13. This is because the data are now processed by EUMETSAT instead of ESA - and they changed the data format without further notice. I will track this down and update the reader module.

Dear Antonio,

after a deeper check and investigating with our in-house experts:

The NR data (near realtime) are processed by EUMETSAT and cannot be opened in SNAP. We may be adding support for this format in a later version of SNAP.

The NT data (not time critical) are processed by the ESA groundsegment and these are compatible with SNAP.

So, can you please try using NT data - and send a short feedback if things are working for you?
