Is there a way to know that two or more sentinel-1A products are scanned in the exactly same area but in different dates?

You can compare the footprint of your openend images in the lower left “Navigation” Panel. The dates of the images are in the metadata or in the filenames of the opened products.

I think what you need is the relative orbit. It is stored in the metadata as rel_orbit and gives information on the track of the image.
If images have the same relative orbit, they are acquired from (nearly) the same imaging direction and angle, as it is required for interferometry, for example.
